We are all shaped by stories; spoken or unspoken, inherited or absorbed. Many of those stories come in the form of belief systems.
They tell us who we are.
How we should act.
What we should strive for.
And (most dangerously) what we must suppress to belong.
Mine began in the world of music, culture, and the arts, moved through innovation and technology, dived into futurism and strategy, and now lands in regeneration, transformation, and soul-aligned leadership.
Over the years, I’ve come to realise that the belief systems I was living by were running - as a script - in the background, subconsciously - and they weren’t mine. They were passed down by culture, family, education, work, and media. And they were often rooted in fear, scarcity, control, and outdated models of masculinity.
What carried me through these chapters wasn’t just professional growth; it was an inner evolution. A deep rewriting of the belief systems I had inherited, absorbed, or clung to for safety - systems that helped me survive for a time, but no longer served the man I was becoming.
To embody true leadership, I had to confront the old scripts and replace them with more aligned truths.
These shifts didn’t happen overnight. They came through ‘going through the fire’, through reflection, mentorship, and sitting in circle. They came through heartbreak, grief, and joy. Through fatherhood. Through stillness and acceptance. Through facing my shadows and reclaiming my essence.
That’s the journey I now walk with other men through our Unconditional Men programs and circles.

Rewriting the Script: How I Transformed My Belief Systems
Here are just a few beliefs I’ve had to unlearn:
1. Linear Progress → Regenerative Growth
Old belief: “Innovation must move fast and forward.”
New Belief: “Real progress is cyclical and grounded in nature, balance, and wisdom.”
2. Masculinity as Power → Masculinity as Presence
Old belief: “Masculinity is dominance, control, suppression of emotions.”
New Belief: “True masculinity is integration, emotional presence, and inner strength.”
3. Individual Achievement → Collective Co-Creation
Old belief: “Success = wealth, status, and personal wins.”
New Belief: “Impact = joy, community, creativity, and shared purpose.”
4. Tech Will Save Us → Regeneration Will Heal Us
Old belief: “Technology will solve humanity’s problems.”
New Belief: “Technology is a tool—healing comes through restoring our relationship with Earth, self, and each other.”
5. Hustle Culture → Embodied Leadership
Old belief: “Work harder. Prove yourself. Never stop.”
New Belief: “Be still. Align deeply. Lead from embodiment, not ego.”
6. Rational Mind Over Intuition → Integration of Both
Old belief: “If it’s not logical, it’s not valid.”
New Belief: “Intuition and emotion are wise guides. Mind, heart, body, and soul must align.”
7. Growth = Success → Well-being = Success
Old belief: “Progress is economic growth.”
New Belief: “Progress is purpose, wellness, and regenerative impact.”
8. Separate Personal & Professional → Lead with Wholeness
Old belief: “Keep emotions out of the workplace.”
New Belief: “Bring your whole self—lead with authenticity and values.”
9. Scarcity Mindset → Trust in Abundance
Old belief: “There’s not enough. Compete, win, dominate.”
New Belief: “There is enough. Collaborate, trust, and flow with life.”
10. Command-and-Control Leadership → Facilitated, Feminine-Integrated Leadership
Old belief: “Lead by giving orders.”
New Belief: “Lead by creating safe space, empowering others, and listening deeply.”

💜 A Very Personal Story
Shout out to Lucian Tarnowski, founder of the fantastic United Planet (UP) Games—an immersive adventure experience designed to co-create and upgrade our collective future. One of the upcoming games, Ibizan Inspiration, will take place in Ibiza from June 29 – July 5.
Lucian recently shared a video with me, filmed during a previous UP Game I participated in—a time when the Unconditional Men story was just beginning to emerge in Ibiza.
What makes this video particularly meaningful is that it captures the first time I publicly spoke on camera about one of the most personal transitions in my life: my daughter’s journey of becoming a transgender man.
I had to lose a daughter… to welcome the son I had always longed for.
It was a moment of deep vulnerability, grief, and unexpected joy—an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of unconditional love, identity, and what it truly means to be a father.
It’s hard to understand that my son can no longer enter the United States for this reason. How do you feel about this? Do you think this is human?
